I fully expected to see pictures on Subaru UK's website this morning, but there is no mention of it.
Now that the car is in the public domain (the Paris show is now open to the press), there seems no point in keeping it secret.
I'll post up some pics and specs tomorrow a.m. (friday) from Paris.

Hand up who here dosen't believe that the MY03 is as per the "Scoop 2003" thread? - (with the obvious exception that the Scoop has been photoshopped!)

If this is it then well done is what I say! That's the best facelift I've seen since the Mk2 MX-5 - an I mean that as a compliment!

Pete,
Care to wet our appetite a bit ?
Change in specs, you mention eh?
According to Evo there will be a change/upgrade in interior quality adding around another 30 kg's
.. so 1385 + 30 = 1415 kg's = 1.39265 tons ..... so 215/1.39265 BHP = 154 BHP/ton
To put this in perspective ... (Evo stats)
S3 - 166
Clio 172 (new) - 163
Leon Cupra (note not R) - 163
Corolla T-sport - 153
Accord Type-R - 163
Civic Type-R - 166
Also ..
Sti7 -Type UK - 180
Classic UK Turbo - 177
So we have gone from (standard) a lightish, 0-100 in about 15 rocketship to a lardass, 0-100 in about 19 (given the extra weight) as yet unseen shape.
Unless there has been an addition of a six-speed box (would this e much quicker given there is a wide torque curve) and a few more ponies/torque this one is going to be worse than even on the performance stakes.
Question is Pete, are we going to be dissapointed by the standard spec release?
Doofus.
Mind you if we are your business is going to rocket, heaps of SS exhausts etc

While we wait for a pic from Paris....anyone care to do a quick paint job & cover the sickers so we can see what it will look like in a 'plain' blue (BTW I just tried but I'm embarressed to post my attempt....)

OK, Subaru have lost the plot. It looks like an elephant has sat on the nose, its sort of crushed down. Does that car look sad too, got tears in the corner of its eyes! The front wing isnt in proportion with bigger gaps at the rear than front and whats with such fkin HUGE glass area on the lights? the bonnet scoop, whats that all about?
It looks fat and ugly, very depresing.

I gotta go with john on the bonnet scoop, what are they on with that?
I think the lights look better, as long as the whole area under the 'glass' (which is no doubt plastic) isn't shiny like the MY01, but you can't really tell cos of the lighting in these pictures.
Will reserve judgement till I see one in the flesh, I hope at the british motorshow, but it does look better than a standard MY01 imo.

I agree with a prior post on the name it should be called:
I hereby officially dub the new beauty ...uh...I mean beast the almighty "BLOBEYE" LOL LOL
Hope when I have to replace my bugeye that it don't look like the BLOBEYE.
Cheers,
Ray
Oh, just my humble opinion of course
