Well it's my first Subaru so I can't compare to the others. But I've just done my 1000 mile service and been able to let it loose. Very very fast although the Turbo is subtle. You don't realise how fast your going. The exhaust sounds lovely especialy if you slam it into third at around 45mph and put your foot down. I love it and a trip to the shops usually takes me about 40 minutes.

I picked up my UK 2 weeks ago, still only clocked up 700miles so I am keeping it to 4000rpm. I have read they take a few thousand miles to loose up. Mine doesn't have ppp fitted yet, but I intend to get this fitted soon.
Question, Can I book PPP directly with prodrive or must I go through my dealer?

Thumbs up

Recommended to be fitted by ProDrive or Dealer. You have to have 16" or over wheels.

Jason,
I've had my UK300 for about two months now and I love it. I didn't go for the PPP for a couple of reasons( insurance, cost etc)but I am more than happy (for now!!) with the performance.
The 1000 mile service will cost you about £50 for the oil, you shouldn't be charged any labour costs.

I did go for the Prodrive Exhaust which sounds brilliant.

Happy motoring

Try 5000 miles to loosen up.........

Then it pulls a lot better and doesnt tail off as noticably at 6000rpm.

Anyone who's got a UK300 and PPP should be aware it will undoubtedly get quicker with age!!

Jza

2 weeks to PPP

LOL yeah I know I used to have a rover and could get to the shops in 5 minutes. Something doesn't add up??? Oh yeah the Rover was really boring to drive so I took the direct route

J UK
The Oil and filter cost me exactly £37 so I guess that would be the same through out the country. On another note even though they're meant to only change those mentioned above I'm sure the cars quicker even just to 4000rpm.

J UK
I thought the PPP was compulsory. You had to have it fitted with in a certain time.

Pete

I would ignore Mr Rainbird, he is just jealous as his car can't go any faster than 180mph!
