Does anyone know how most dealers feel about taking a car in Px if the two relative value of the cars are quite similar?

I traded my 98 wagon for a 01 Seat Leon plus a small amount of cash back in my favour... I came off best as my wagon's still for sale at the place I sold it to 4 months later, and they've dropped their price by £1000!!!

My local dealer will take most in, except if an Import, they wont touch with the proverbial "barge pole". So long as a profit to be made, any dealer worth their salt will make a grab,thats how they get their dosh

My dealer knocked off the deposit on a MY99 against my Reno 19-16v and its gearbox was completely shot Think it was about £350

They will take anything as long as they can make a deal on the car you want to buy basically.

They will pay Trade price for yours and you will pay retail money for the car you buy. The dealer should be aiming to make 2K on each deal.
