In need of assistance, SW London
#1
Could anyone from around the SW London/Surrey region help me work out, whats wrong with my 93WRX???
I think there is a boost problem, as it hesitates and sounds like it is 'choking'
Am i driving it wrong, or is there a mechanical issue?

No I havent replaced the ECU
It actually happens while blast off/throttling down the accelerator.
It was supposed to be fixed, but it seems to have come back.
Which is why i think its the way I drive...
Would appreciate someone taking me for a blast in theirs, and then the same in mine...................

93WRX ecus **** up. Its a known fact. You need to get a post 95 one and fit that (they're called Z4 ecu's). Its something to do with crap programming or summit.
Before I replaced mine the boost would got to 0.5bar sometimes, booooo, and 0.8bar other times Now it goes to 0.9bar all the time
