Wink

Guys,

I had my STi Zymoled + swisoled today, what a difference, took the guy 5 hours and did a superb job, he reckons it will last up to a year as long as you buy the wash product to clean it with.

If any one is in the Bournemouth/Poole are I can give you his number, costs £170.00 but well worth it!

What's this Zymoled stuff then?

And what are the advantages of having it applied?

Its called Zymol and there is also Swissol, both as good as each other, you wash the car, then rub the car with a piece of wax, which takes all tar and fillings and road stuff like that out of the paint, then you apply a wax cleaner twice then clean off, my car is gleaming (WR Blue STi 7uk)looks better than new!.

Apparently it lasts about a year as long as you buy the wash adative and use when dirty, otherwise you take the wax protection right off and bang goes your £170!

I've been using Zymol for a while now. It isn't THAT sensitive to what you wash it with (don't use Fairy, of course) and I have heard that you can pressure wash it off, but my cars always get washed at service time with who knows what and the wax stays put.
Damned easy to get fly squash off as well...

Buy some Wax Wizard and you'll have enough to sort your car out for about 4 years - you just have to supply the labour yourself

I think you'll find that Mr Wax Wizard used to use Zymol, and now uses Swissol, so they must be pretty good stuff, I use his own wax, my car hasn't been done for about 8 months, and still people are saying I spend too long polishing it!!!!
