Believe me... the Defi's are WELL worth the wait

I have just stuck mine onto the dash for now using the supplied sticky pads and gauge brackets. Fitting them into the pod later will be like 10 mins tops.

Top kit, from a top company... thanks NAM (and especially Harj for talking me into spending some more )

Richie.

Hi Rob,

I did send mails out to everyone - basically the gauges are here but the pods aren't - should be here shortly.

We've sent out all the gauges that don't require pods.

Sorry if you feel agrieved - but you know my email address and you know I always reply to them - you could've mailed me....

Robski,

Have faith.

I guessed things would be delayed when I ordered mine.

I just feel that with a product this good and a price like that, there has to be some trade off somewhere.

if you are that desperate you can always cancel your order and buy through other channels.

I for one am happy to wait, they are going to be cool.

Craig,

I mailed you yesterday hence my posting.

I guess its still floating around cyberspace

I dont feel agreived as such, maybe just a little annoyed, but works a pisser at the mo, so thats probably the cause.

Glad to see some others have leapt to your defence.

Im sure all will be ok. (eventually )

Would if I could but I cant... someone has my video camera at the moment and it is my only means of taking digital snaps

They look good, stuck onto the top of the dash sun glasses tray lid thing.... easy to view without having to look away from the road.

Richie.

Having followed in Harj's footsteps and had the gauges fitted myself at the weekend - I can also say they are WELL worth the wait - Haven't gone anywhere yet thought cause they just look so good when you turn on the ignition !!!!

Sure Craig would agree !!!!!

Will take pictures tonight and post tomorrow - someone gonna have to help me to do it though.....

Harj,

For Rich to be at your level, he would have to spout loads of bull and wind up and annoy everyone on this board

Plus to remove all his driving ability of course and go on camera and drive like a learner or a blindman

Sweet!
How they fitted to the dash? sticky pads or screws? Is this the standard fitment for them? reason I ask is that these would be perfect for the blackbeast, which is a MY94, and thus no odment tray, so no gauge pod.

They are in the standard pods that come with the dials.....

Stuck on using Halfords "Real" sticky pads as Harj says the standard pads will last you 2 bumps.....

Fitting was done by Elvis @ Tyres N' and is real neat !!!

All in all - very impressed.....

I've got mine mounted the same way... using the standard pads... dash would fall off before these gauges... the pads work well if the dash is dust free Harj and his 2 bumps

Cool

Richie,

You should post a video of your guages on start-up at night - that's really impressive (full scale sweep of the pointer followed by a "shimmy" like movement back to measured values).

(managed to convince the wife that window tinting is a good thing!).
