Talking

Been feeling a bit miffed today, no replies from job applications despite one of the best CVs I have ever seen

So this evening Mole and I took the lightweight UK for a severe lashing!

We were (deserted lanes) pulling 90s and 100s (and only using up to 5k rpm!), through some serious bits of our local B roads...Mole said "I can see the road lighting up", thats what its all about...it was popping and flaming on each and every 'off' of the go pedal, SUPERB

On our way back from the Optimax shop we suffered a bit of overboost, (time for another adjustment on the boost), started to take it easy for the few miles home....enter Mr.Vectra joining the bypass as we did, couldnt help myself we had what can only be described as a jolly good burn! Up to 60mph of course, Scooby showed him whos the Daddy! (even with fuel cut).

I dont usually get too involved with all that, but it was very quiet (except for a 300bhp scooby howl), and we both gave each other plenty of room and even exchanged waves and flashes when the game was over!

Anyroad I felt better after it

Ready to be told off, MD.

Wink

You're a very, very, bad man

Now explain how said Mr Vectra was still close enough to wave Would have expected a 300BHP scooby to be at least a few miles ahead

He was close enough to wave AFTER the event, I dont go too silly, as soon as Im happy that Ive 'done the deed' I back off and say "cheers matey".

Dont want to go into the twisties at [edit] mph do we?, end up as another 'told you so'.

And yes I now realise that Im a very bad man, I shall not drive for 2 whole days!

Cheers, MD.

MD

Nice one, its good to have these controlled moments every now and again.

Just had a moment with bird in ibiza cupra r, could see pi55ing everyone off as she came down the a64, flashing her lights etc, etc.

I moved in and let her by, then as we came off roundabout over a1, i booted it in 3rd and had to lift off otherwise would have been in her boot. she stuck her fingers up (how rude) and moved in, i just blew past her then pulled in, she then overtook on double whites with headlight going and horn balzing.

Silly cow, i let her go, as she seemed to want to kill herself.

Strange how they react, you got a nice friendly one, i had the shedevil!!

Steven

ps she obviously did not take kindly to having done to her what she did to others. (Numerous i might add)

I think there are two types of 'deed doers', (I wont mention race cos its not ethical).

Firstly we have the guy that I met last night, sensible and fully able to drive fast with an understanding of the surroundings, able to read the conditions and more importantly, is able to admit to defeat graciously

Then we have what you encountered today, mental people in fast cars only because they are fortunate enough to be able to afford them.
They cannot read conditions, do not understand the basics of speed, time, distance and just drive fast but eratic...pretty dangerous combination

Any way, my philosophy still stands, get out of there way and let them go somewhere else and cause carnage, at least that way its not me (us), involved!

Cheers for now.
