Is this your veggie mate with the 22B at bedford - the one who was heard to say when he came in after a run that he "thought P1's were supposed to be fast ".
Maybe he was trying to keep up with my one .
Cheers

Dlow Dog, I think there are quite a few channels from which people can find your address through your license plate. From there, it's just a question of what they do with it. And I'm sure this site is used by some of the very people that sell stolen scooby's... So, it's just an extra precaution, that's all...

depends if you have a high profile car.
but then its obvious you dont care about these things, having blowdog written on your car
I didn't care either, as I said, but after a long conversation last night, I was convince by those more sensible than myself that it isnt good for everyone to know whose car is whose etc. and announcing it publicly. There is jealousy, plus it is a source of info for potential car thieves.
As in look, here is my car, this is my plate, car is easier to associate with person when it has a plate attached to it, and hence, easier to find out where it lives.
Better safe than sorry. So I thought why not.
Said before, anyone who wants to see the pics, mail me offline on adam@22b.com

Here are the rules again. Please can you ensure they are followed.
No posting of full registration numbers as this can be an invasion of privacy and could cause upsets. Also it may end up being a risk to the 'spotted' driver.
You can post pictures too but again, no numbers to be shown.
No posting of locations where cars are parked on a regular basis. E.G. Cars parked during the day in railway car parks, work places etc. I'm sure no one want's the whereabouts of their unattended pride and joy published for all to see.
Don't post more information about a cars identity then you would want to see about your own.
Finally. this is meant to be a friendly place where you can talk to the owners of cars you have spotted and maybe set up a local meet. It is not for conducting a witch hunt or vigilante movement against drives.
Thanks

why does spinning prevent me from being faster than the P1s?
Stef spins and often crashes but he is accepted as being very quick when he is consistent!
Do F1 drivers never spin?
Are you all perfect drivers?
At least I was trying.
Before this trackday, everyone said I drive like a girl and would be damn slow.
I may still be slow, but I was faster than I expected.
My comment about being quicker than P1s was referring to straightline speed.
Cem, I gave you those photos to see what you think, and help me choose which ones to buy. I appreciate you using them for this purpose, it has shown me what a true friend you can be.
I dont object to people seeing my spin, but at least remove my number plate in future.
Thanks for that mate, but I have seen to it myself, that the pictures be removed , it seems odd that someone I dont even know thinks it inappropriate to post another persons number plate but one of my best friends has no repsect for my feelings .
If anyone wants to see all the photos including the spin, mail me offline.

Please do not take my remarks personally. A major part of this community is the ability to take the p1$$ out of each other, without offense.
hey, you should have seen the "ragging" I got from the "BSRT drivers" when I returned my car with dented panels.
Anyway I just hope you enjoyed the experience coz I'm just jealous being stuck with a lot of blasted SUV's on the wrong side of the pond

Yes m8, chill...
Don't take this personally. We (me and friends) have been taking the **** of eachother for about 10 years... Ever since I got an Alfa people say I can't drive !!! But you KNOW they MUST be WRONG !!!!!!!!!
Dumb move to post the plates, but everybody makes a mistake once in a while...
By the way, I know this guy who did the same thing (180º spin), coming into a 1 way 3 lane street. Imagine the faces of the people he was facing . Nobody moved when their light went green... Go figure

Guys,
Do i have to be upset to be defensive?
I was making some points so that I might not lose!
I like arguing, as rest assured your comments haven't upset me in the least. I have been smiling ear to ear since the track day
Don't wory guys, it takes loads to offend me. Infact on other threads I have openly invited people to try.
Would like to meet you all in person one day, so that we really could guage eachothers personalities .
Perhaps we should have name tags at the next sidc meeting

PS cem, incase you are worried,
I am taking the pi55 too!
Am not bothered by this. Wouldn't have minded number plate posting had some people not suggested it was a bad idea.
If you remember the pics of our cars on your site had the plates on them .

Adam has indeed invited offense on other threads...
"Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries".
It's the best that I can do at short notice; I'm knackered.
Nick.

Can I just point out that this thread is suddenly less interesting (post removal of the picture).
Actually I'm only assuming it is less interesting, 'cos I didn't see the picture in the first place.
Cem - you have photorealistic abilities - can you draw your interpretation of the original ommiting the offending number?

This is so silly.
Who the hell cares if number plates are left on? What difference does it make?
Do you park your car at night with your number plates blanked out? FFS. Really gets to me this one.
