Looking to change out my exhaust as now it’s finally back ( well it isn’t as back for injectors / map ) I’m not a fan of the sound at all. Standard bb and mid section. All uk stockists are out of stock and I don’t think timings will work to have it here in time. Don’t want to buy exhaust and remap again down the line when I could get it in before. I know it’s a long shot.

Also, you don’t need a remap for a cat back.

oh really ? I presumed anything added or taken would need a remap ? Well that changes things as I’d be more than happy to fit as it has a current invidia 3” decat so an easy job really

No that won’t make a difference, it just means there’s less of a flow restriction. It’s the size of the downpipe that governs most of the flow characteristics of the engine, and the change in back pressure has an effect on boost dusty cycle. Therefore changing downpipes requires a remap, changing the cat back doesn’t.
