Default Track legal exhaust recommendations

I currently have no cats and a Scorpion 3" single box system on my car and it's TOO quiet, just wondering what other people have? Custom or otherwise. (pics would be great)

Seriously it’s very quiet, sounds like a standard car, it’s on JDM twin scroll headers with aftermarket up pipe modded for twin waste gates as running a non gated turbo, the set up made 460bhp at 1.5bar boost on a 50mm inlet restrictor but it’s down on expected power and wonder if the exhaust could be part of the solution.

Yes but as above I’m wondering if there’s too much of a restriction in the exhaust

If it’s running a 3” decat and 3” cat back there should be no restriction issues unless the downpipe is extremely poorly designed or the back box has collapsed internally and causing a restriction, both are likely to be fairly doubtful.

Are you running a restrictor for competition purposes?

Twinscroll tends to be quieter in our experience than a single.........

if you wanted a full Milltek then we can still supply these specific systems and track friendly but not 'loud'.........

Im a bit confused, you want a track legal exhaust, and more noise?
But most tracks have a Db limit that you want to exceed as its too quiet?

This is WAAAYY below the limit, as I said previously I'm wondering if it being so quiet is causing a restriction.

One option is to add a high-flow performance exhaust system. This can increase airflow and produce a more aggressive exhaust note. You could also consider a cat-back exhaust system, which replaces the exhaust system from the catalytic converter back. Some popular brands for these types of systems include Borla, MagnaFlow, and Flowmaster.

Another option is to install a resonator delete or a muffler delete. This involves removing the resonator or muffler from the exhaust system, which can increase the volume and alter the tone of the exhaust note. However, it's important to note that this modification may be illegal in some areas and can also lead to increased emissions and a check engine light.

A final option is to install an electronic exhaust cutout. This is essentially a valve that allows you to open or close a section of the exhaust system, giving you the ability to switch between a loud or quiet exhaust note on demand.

[QUOTE=JdmSti2006[/QUOTE]
It's a fully stripped out race car on slicks so is trailered everywhere, inlet restrictor won't change the exhaust note
