Default boost issue ?

So it’s a 2.5 fsti , the elh split , it was welded and it appears fully sealed , it was bolted back on , it now won’t boost , if you go 1/4 throttle it will max rev and boost gets to around 1 bar , but if you floor it it hits between .5 and .7 bar then shudders and won’t increase its boost , plugs look good , i’ve ecutek and disconnected the battery over night to reset it but it’s still playing up , no sign of any cuts in intake or boost lines , plugs look good , last job is test the fuel pump pressure , any thoughts please

Where the headers partially leaking possibly when it was mapped, then split even more over time, and now it's been repaired its seeing too much boost?

it’s a valid point , but they were good before it was mapped as that’s about three years ago , leak is recent , i did an ecutek ecu reset , don’t know if that would work , i don’t think it’s an ecutek map , i’ve discounted battery and leaving it over night , maybe issue is resolved but still playing up as the ecu has not reset , boost is good to around .5 of a bar then goes wrong , max boost is around 1.25 to 1.3 bar

Were they wrapped. Just hoping that a piece of the old headers hasn't gone up into your exhaust wheel and done damage

I had weird running issues with my 2.5, turned out to be the MAF for me.

Do some live data logs, that way we can see what the ECU doesn't like.

cheers for peoples advice , so took the plugs out they looked fine , i changed them any way and where the positive lead bolts to the battery gave that a clean too as i had moved it earlier , fingers staying crossed it’s all back to normal now pulling like a train , it’s 5 th and 6 th boost drops of slightly but power does not seem to but i think a small loss of boost is normal , very strange plugs looked hardly worn or is was the battery connections , maybe taking the plug out before was it’s down fall and it was not sealing in the head as well , who knows but fingers staying crossed , new elh ordered from hayward and scott 1050£ ouch 👍

tesco momentum or shell v power as it’s mapped to 99 octane 👍
