Default Boost problems

would cleaning the engine breathers help with boost solenoid problems like eratic boost .It reaches boost target higher in rev range ie 3 4 5 then starts flicking back and fotwards.I have cleaned pipes attached to boost soleniod ie filled with carb cleaner then have taken for a run cured for couple of weeks then starts again.I phoned ecutek up spoke about problem he said drill restrictor in pipe 1.2mm but boost droped in pressure my2000classic turbo full decat tek2 exchange ecu .Any help please

Ive been having boost problems for about a month now, i cleaned my boost solonoid and it helped for about 2 weeks then it came back, had a service today and they changed the spark plugs and now its flying again so i hope thats solved it.
Haved you tried changing your sparkplugs mate

remember that spark plugs 'burn out' much quicker when using fuel additives

I think i have solved my boost problem cleaned out breathers with carb cleaner its running better holding boost when I had tek2 installed.I have never cleaned these before i have owned car from new. There was a far bit of oil in these pipes

Which breathers did you clean out? Curious as I think I will give it a shot.

Hello scoobstu theres one on each side of cam covers black 20mm or so one between and below intercooler on drivers side these pipes are not secured like jubilee clips just pushed on i sprayed cleaner in the metal pipe work for intercooler pipeing just removed cam cover ones of sprayed cleaner threw pipes its hard to describe by writing down trying to word it hope this helps with finding the pipes for you
