Default What grease do i need for this Whiteline Engine Pitch Stop ?

I bought this Whiteline engine pitch stop off another forum user, basically i bought a set of wheels from him and he had this engine pitch stop left over from his hatch so i said i'd take it while i was there. It didn't come with the sachet of grease so what grease do i need for it, as far as i'm aware the bushes are polyurethane.

When i fitted my beatrush one it didn't come with grease. I did however put white lithium grease on the bolts.

As per info in your quoted link

"Grease has been supplied in the kits where required and must be used to optimise bush performance and durability. Grease has been formulated from a reinforced No. 2 lithium complex base and selected additives with molybdenum disulphide for mechanical stability, extreme pressure qualities for extended life and a high melting or drop point be applied to the bores and outer flanges of all bushes and components - do not grease the outside surfaces of bushes and components."

Hi Don, with a lot of people doing nut and bolt restorations on here as well as a lot of Subaru mechanics using the forum i was kind of hoping that ssomeone would know and mention the prodiuct that would work for this, i could then i could order it, rather than having to go through google and look at every product and their forumla to see whats in it and even then it might not be perfect as the whiteline description that you quoted and i originally read before posting mentions selective additives as well, but doesn't mention what they are.

Didn't take much googling " lithium grease with moly".

I think its allan at whiteline uk, could drop him an email to send you some grease..
I think that its not worth worrying about too much and any ptfe or lithium grease would do the job.

Its basically the engine pitch stop is it not, ive got a group n one and have run 580hp with out any problems for the last few years ive also got group n engine mounts.
