Default 04 fsti replacement hose opinions please

As I'm having a bit of work done thought now would be a good time to have all the old hoses replaced with silicone. There's not many sg9 kits available ,am I right in thinking I can use 01-05 Impreza hoses? I just want them in black .
I've seen a kit by TT racing that seem too cheap.
Gravity seem very reasonable not sure if their any good.
or should I spend more and buy samco.
As always any input would be appreciated

personally I would go for a known brand like Samco as you know they are built well, there are lots of rubbish hoses out there.

Samco are the best probably, i too couldnt find a kit that would definitely fit the forester so i just went oem,
I figured oem lasted a good 14 years.

So the new age will fit then? Was it worth buying ? I don't mind trimming them down or where most of them unsuitable ? And you were left with a lot that didn't fit? Sorry for all the questions but as you have actually done this Im really interested ,as opposed to some of the nonsense I've spent trawling through on the internet. Thanks

No worries, post 63 https://www.scoobynet.com/1050783-fl...machine-3.html

It was never a perfect fit and you need to pluck up the courage to cut a shiny new hose but it did the job and looked decent. I really wanted the Zerosports one at the time but couldn't get hold of it.

I have a Samco turbo inlet hose on my 2007 STi.
Yes, paid a small fortune for it, but the quality is very very good. It's a black matt finish stealthy one, looks OEM to the untrained eye.

Your asking the right questions, post it up if you find the answer 👍🏽

I never managed to find a definitive solution, for a full kit.
Its just another one of those annoying questions, what will fit the forester that comes from the Impreza.
Good luck.

I got a viper performance inlet hose at £180 and their website video shows even samco fail.

Fuji racing stealth Black hoses look oem but are silicone. Give icp a call.

have you checked for any kits for a forester 2.5 xt as that’s what it’s based on , the red intercooler piping looks nice so i would not change it , one of my Fsti has blue pipe work top and bottom going to the radiator , it was done in japan , i’m not even sure of the make but i can have a look if you want , are you looking to do all the hoses , being most 2.5 sti engines are the same , then there should in theory be a few options

The only difference to the list below is the turbo outlet pipe of the Fsti being different/unique.
