std grade would be a good quality 10w40 for that age, with the mods and in particular the driving style then a 10w50 might be more appropriate
as for filters then the Subaru "black" JDM spec filters are pretty much as good as it gets

Hi mate and welcome. Get some pictures up, wonder how local you are to me
Alyn has basically summed it all up (he is one of the most recommended engine builders within the community). You can buy the stock Black Subaru filter from a number of places. Shouldn't be more than £15 with shipping. If you get stuck finding it give me a shout and I'll put some links up.

Yes to the black filter , if it’s high mileage or uses a bit of oil , then i would say use the 10/50 , if not then use the 10/40 , the millers cfs nanodrive is a decent oil ,and not too £ , and again dependant on use , not including track days , i would say 5000 miles or 7500 miles for oil changes , i do the 7500k change as that’s when it starts looking dirty enough to change 👍

Eerrr spent all Impreza's be changed every 5000 miles. I do mine more than that.

subaru service schedule for a classic oil change is suggested is 7500 , new age is 10,000 , i’m often doing mine at 7500 plus as oils starting to get dirty by then , but i expect it’s still fine , but 7500 plus works out as a yearly change any way , if you track it or it’s heavier use than normal , then subaru say you can change it earlier , modern oils are designed to last so in reality there is little point changing more/too often unless it’s tracked a lot , there was some test done on oil particles , and it showed it was of little purpose changing the oil every few thousand miles as it served no purpose , a good oil is more important than frequent changes , do it at 5000 miles if it’s hard use but it’s likely to be of little benefit , by 7500 it’s likely to be getting dirty as you get more blow by gasses on a turbo as it’s higher pressure , my last engine went on to 198k and was still running fine 👍
