Hi all , went to jap show today after pulling car out of garage notice a little puddle of oil checked the level and was half full of gearbox oil.

Went to the show came home checked again and just above low.

I have been underneath and looks to be loosing the fluid near the front of the gearbox

Both front drive shafts are dry the propshaft is dry

500 miles ago had new clutch and flywheel fitted never leaked before

Can anyone recommend me a gear box oil to top this up with so I can safely get my car to a garage to sort this issue

What car 5 or 6 speed

6 speed 2003
Had another look the gearbox sump is soaking Bell housing is dry
front shafts are dry
Prop is dry

Not sure weather maybe a drain plug is came loose of was fitted with old copper ring
