Scooby bus
Evening all
Apologies if this had posted twice. I tried last night and it hasn’t appeared.
I’ve got a scooby 2.0 legacy engine in the back of my 75 VW Camper and am needing to get it serviced.
I live down on the south cost near Chichester West Sussex and was wondering whether anyone knows of any trusted scooby independents that you’d trust with your first born (yes I really am that attached to it!!).
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Shaun

Little bit of a trek for you but Brent at SMD in Newhaven gets a lot of good feedback.

That looks wicked dude.
Why don't you service it yourself.

Alas I'm useless at anything mechanical. Fellows Speedshop (the guys that built and installed the engine) are fantastic and I would be using them at the drop of the hat, but they're 3.5 hours away for me and at the moment I can't get away from work during the week, hence trying to find a more local garage.

The hardest part is jacking them up safely. Once you have done that and got axel stands in the right places it should be quite kit.
Drain pan in the right place undo the sump plug
Undo oil filter
redo sump plug
prime new oil filter and put oil on the rubber seal
Fit new oil filter
Top up oil and you're good to go
There was a joke tutorial on how to do an oil change on here but can't seem to find it. would have linked it
