For removable metal parts I'd ceramic coat them. Not cheap but I am not a fan of wrapping, personally.

yes, who was it that had that sexy wrap that looked more like a case? I was certain I'd find it in the projects section when searching for one of "manifold", "heat wrap" or "headers", but i've come up empty handed

https://www.thermomet.co.uk/

I’ve had my manifold, downpipe and wastegates done by them, quality is second to none and it works very well.

Looks amazing and I'm sure it does a fantastic job but the cost of it is huge.

Really....???
I've been quoted £650 to do an exhaust manifold which is crazy money imo.

Thanks Matty.
I think one of the guys with a 2.1 or 2.3 Hawk used them recently. If I remember right, it was about £850 for manifold, downpipe and turbo?

Their work looks amazing and I guess these are more efficient than ceramic coating!
Does anyone know if humidity/water affect the longevity of these insulations?

For what it's worth, back in 2012 I paid around £500-550 (from memory) to have a Prodrive downpipe and an exhaust middle section ceramic coated.
