ive been to see a 10 plate 2l sti import today thats just arrived in the uk. its a spec c done about 60k miles and looks great.
are these actually any good as its a lot of money. would i be better off getting a cheaper jdm model , blob eye .

Just check the most important document with any 'freshly imported' JDM - The Japanese Auction sheet, which the seller should have, no reason at all why shouldn't unless they've hidden it. Check the car gradings, I used to buy only grade 4 and above for exterior condition back in the days when I owned STi's. I owned 7 different ones from 2002 to 2010, three were JDM's. If you've never had a JDM but have had a Type UK, you will absolutely love the JDM in a big way, I believe. The Spec C is great, more hardcore, ball bearing turbo, but in real world daily driving, you won't notice any difference between a Spec C and STi JDM 👍
