Please can anyone give me an idea percentage wise how much less a parallel import STi would be worth at trade-in?

They offered me £1000 less than the equivalnet UK model when I traded in my Eurospec STi 8

 

Thats not that bad £1000 difference.
How much did you save buying JDM STi?

 

It was Euro spec STi 8, item £21500 + registration and all the other crap + tracker ended up at £23500 against dealer price of £25000. I'm sure now that had I gone to the main dealer I could of got one for the same price.

Wasnt worried in the ned as I wanted to modify it and my Uk warranty would have been kaputt!

 

I think Conrad was lucky with the price he got back for his car. I also had a import car (motorpoint) and the resale value I got back was considerably lees than if a where a uk car. Any excuse dealers or anyone else for that matter when you're selling they will take it. UK dealers are not in to taking euro cars so they'll offer you less than joe public.
Better to sell it private.

Should have tried www.wrx.co.uk, might have took it in for cash better than dealer prices for parrallel imports.
