Best garage for imports
Where do people turn to for quality imported vehicles in the U.K.? I’ve seen some that don’t look to good so does anyone have recommendations? I’ve had a look on the search bar and could find anything.

I couldn't disagree more, I think right now is a dreadful time to buy.
Prices are currently as high as ever and demand is outstripping supply for cars across the board thanks to Sunak's free money spaffing and 3 months of pent up demand.
Anyone making a discretionary purchase of a non-essential weekend/second car would have to be mad to buy right now, the economic impact of Corona hasn't even begun to take effect yet.

I wouldn't buy a car from Hurst Cars overpriced high mileage. If it was me i would use Harlow Jap Auto's

I agree. Hurst have always been overpriced but at least at one time their overpriced cars were good examples and low mileage... now they're just overpriced average examples with average/high miles that you can pick up anywhere.

I remember hursts from a while back and they always had decent examples in. Just taken a look and you’re right, nothing standing out at the minute.

I had a Evo 9 off torque gt and it was pretty much pristine, currently importing a Forester sti through jm imports too! very happy with services and communication from the both of them, nice easy process

I went to Hurst last week and the cars in there looked fantastic. Max seemed like a decent guy, took me out in his Spec C (as it's what I'm interested in getting). There were other people there looking around too.
He's got my money now.
Torque GT are also very good, they imported my last car (Glanza) which I had for ten years.

They are all car dealers at the end of the day, nothing more. I've had personal experience with 2 of them, one wasted my time with a munter that he wanted top money for, and the other took 22k off me and handed over a car not fit for the road, so try to look beyond the valeting and other bling cars on show.

I returned it to the dealer for a refund. It had been in a crash which I’d discovered after I bought it, so the dealership took it back.

I dropped in to Hurst's last year and my overall impression was very good.
As soon as you mention who you are and which Subaru you already drive then you will be able to talk technicals of what is on offer
and what is likely to come up, Hurst.s also do a ECU Map and Health check before any car is released. But the same is true at any Main Dealer isn't it ?
But you will be asked for a princely sum for the exotics on offer in front of you.
My view , For anyone without prior Subaru knowledge, just buy a clean near to or Std WRX first for small money sign up here and learn first.
I presume most on here for a year or so know more or less what they want and then its a good place to go to look for the slightly rarer versions,
