Default Any petrol Levorg owners? I'm thinking of buying one

Here's the story , skip to the last paragraph if you don't want to read my ramblings.

So I've hit a but of a slump with my 330s hatchback. Girlfriend has moved in about 6 months ago and i hardly drive it anywhere now yet it costs me £1500 a year before it turns a wheel with tax/ins/servicing.

She has been wanting a bigger car (than a Vauxhall Adam) like an SUV or an estate for dump runs or weekends away and some confidence on motorway, petrol as she only does 10 miles a day. With the 330s not being used i thought of selling it a pulling our money together for a £30k fast estate but I'm starting to think this will be as much a waste as the 330s as I'll rarely use it and a £30k fast car would be wasted on her.

My car is up for sale but I'm not trying too hard to sell as i refuse to take a hit on it so it's only on local forum and a closed hatchback owners Facebook group. But I'm already starting to think I'm mad to sell and might just keep it !

With that in mind we've started to look at sensible estates. I'm rulling out SUV as i think its hard finding one that isn't diesel, and any petrol ones will be weak as. I've also dropped the budget to 15k (hers) but i said I'd add to it to get something good if needed. (So anywhere up to £20k)

This Levorg popped up at the Dealership I got my Subaru and she quite likes it , though I've no knowledge on the other than the BTCC What are they like ? Any major issues with them ? My 330s needed rebuilt so would rather not go though that again ! It wont be driven hard or modified , 10miles a day on mainly dual carriageway.

For starters

The UK Levorg was a 1.6 turbo (MY20 is now a 2.0N/A) petrol. No diesel models.
168BHP / 184 ft-lbs
Built on the same platform as the last version of the WRX STI
Engine is the FB16-DIT version with auto stop/start
Transmission is CVT

I've seen one in the flesh and they do look nice.
Is that one an import?
Description seems generic as mentions Peugeot?
What engine size are they?
And finally it's an automatic.
Who wants an automatic Subaru
Only kidding.

Yeah the ad is sketchy , says it's cloth interior too which i think it only comes in leather.
The auto won't bother me as I'll likely still have my 330s to play in.

Yeah I've been searching YouTube and luckily they only have one spec , certainly avoids confusion with that ad. Only comes in 1.6l Petrol auto, leather interior.
Usually when looking at subarus there's a million different specs/trim level so this keeps it simple.

Read the pdf Specific to UK/Europe as other regions got the 2.0L option as well

Just another idea. A used Subaru dealer supplied Forester XT petrol turbo 240bhp cvt ?

A bit more power , still a so-so gearbox, and a mid-sized SUV. Normally well equipped as standard.

I'm going to look at the Levorg on Wednesday and I'll have a look at what else they have.

A friend of mine has a Levorg and likes it. 1.6L Turbo. His previous car prior was a 05 WRX wagon.

I looked at one to replace my Legacy. Nice cars just a little too small for my needs.

i've had a Levorg since 2017 and have had zero problems with it (apart from the silly name!). Not the most economical car in the world but i knew that before i purchased it. Also not one of the biggest estate cars out there but it does the job nicely, well for me anyway.
A lot of online reviews slate the cvt box when comparing it to a regular auto box but i really like it. Maybe because i have never driven a regular auto or even another cvt box before for any great length of time so have nothing to compare it to.
Give it a good test drive and make up your own mind.

Price seems about right, for the mileage, looking at others for sale.
Obviously if you haggle and can get it for 18 or below would be a bonus.

We've either her car to trade in (which they've already said they'll give me an amount I'm happy with) or my Hatchback 330s. I bought the car from them 3 years ago and they are quite good. But we'll see if they can give me good money for mine as I'm just not using it these days. I'm finding it hard selling it private for the money i want.
