Hello and does anyone have decent routes for Cotswolds
Evening chaps,
it’s been a while since I checked in! Originally had a WRX wagon which got written off by a Nissan Micra. Owned this lovely FSTI for coming up a year and a half:
Off to the Cotswolds in September with some mates and was wondering if anyone has any decent routes they could share?
cheers

Stow-on-the-Wold is a nice little place. Went there a few weeks ago, and free parking for two hours.
From London hop on to the M4 to Swindon Jct 15 and get onto the A419 for about 20 minutes - a nice sweeping dual carriageway.
Follow A419 to Cirencester and look for signs to Stow (A429)
The A429 is a single carriageway, very steep ups and downs on the way, and opens up to two lanes on the steep inclines to get past lorries. There is a couple of sets of lights that sit at the bottom of some steep hills....take it steady.
Past Stow-on-the-Wold is Moreton-in-Marsh, but I didn't have time to go there.
I found it a nice drive with good scenery etc. There may be a better / different route from the M40 towards Oxfordshire. The A40 at Oxford then takes you into the heart of the Cotswolds.
By September the kids are back at school which will be a result on the roads.
Wherever you go will be nice, it's a lovely part of England's green and pleasant land!
