Looks like enough interest to get the ball rolling, a couple of fairly central pubs to meet at are the Highwayman or the Air Balloon, both are on the A417 Cirencester to Cheltenham road either side of Birdlip, not tried either of them myself but have been told the Highwayman may be the better of the two, large car park etc...

Just to confirm date is the 14th October at 12.00, at the Highwayman Inn at Elkstone, just off the A417, looks like we are going to get a good turnout.
Make sure you bed those new brakes in Matt

I don't think I'll bother - gives me a ready made excuse The trick will be getting the "Subaru" on the calipers painted in time!
Put one of those Defi stickers on the boot, in the same place as your Prodrive one - looks good. Do you want the two I've got left?

Simon,
Looks like we won't be able to make it after all as this is double booked with the drive across Exmoor. As much as i'd like to join you all for a pie and a pint, the call of some of the countrys best roads is too much. If of course it's tipping down and we cancel then i'll be there.

Simon I said I could make the Sunday meet, however Ive been talked into the exmoor run on the same day. I would be up for swindon/ cotswolds meets in the future as its local to me, so have a good one and hope to catch you all soon.

Simon - got the OK from er indoors but have to drag her and the kids along. Bring your wife and daughter and they can moan about Scoobs while we enjoy them!

Just to confirm, meeting at 'The Highwayman' pub at Elkstone, 12.00 14th Oct.
Swindon to Cheltenham the pub is on your left just off dual carriageway.
Cheltenham to Swindon you need to get off the dual carriageway (about a mile after it starts) for the village of Elkstone, follow road round to the pub.
