VF28 turbo upgrade from tdo4.
Having a search around and seen the vf28 is a good upgrade from the tdo4 turbo, does the vf turbo fit ok with th tdo4 flanged up pipe and downpipe? I was wanting it to be external wastegate and screamer pipe.

If you've done your research you will see that the VF28 is an old standard Subaru fitment with internal wastegate.
For "external wastegate" you should be looking elsewhere.
For a screamer pipe on the standard configuration turbos

I'm running a VF28, very pleased with the performance. When researching what was needed I found that going from a td series turbo to a vf required the vf banjo bolt, see here:

I bought a new one, which I think was less than £20.
