VF28 turbo upgrade from tdo4.
Having a search around and seen the vf28 is a good upgrade from the tdo4 turbo, does the vf turbo fit ok with th tdo4 flanged up pipe and downpipe? I was wanting it to be external wastegate and screamer pipe. |
If you've done your research you will see that the VF28 is an old standard Subaru fitment with internal wastegate.

For a screamer pipe on the standard configuration turbos https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...amer-pipe.html |
ok thanks for that
does that turbo just bolt up with the tdo4 sports cat and up pipe?? |
Yes, it came standard on the P1.
Remember to remap if you are swapping turbos. |

A friend on mine on here has a vf30 for sale if of interest |
I'm running a VF28, very pleased with the performance. When researching what was needed I found that going from a td series turbo to a vf required the vf banjo bolt, see here:
https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...njo-bolts.html I bought a new one, which I think was less than £20. |
