Default Help rewirng gc8 stereo to oem radio adapter

Hi guys

basically I have bought an oem stereo for car, however the adapter does not fit due to being from a non standard stereo.

Looks like a jeed to buy an original stereo harness and move the wires over.

what is the best approach to do this ajd what do I need (male spades?)
I will attached a picture of the wiring loom- the black connector is the non standard one I want to swap out - thanks

car is gc8 sti v3

Thabks mate.
would I look to take the wires off black plug that I want rid of and put them into the black plugs in the adapter you sent a link off? Do I need to use spades?

Where is the best source to understand what wires go where?

honesly mate - it looks like a world of pain lol

Something like the above is what you will need, the standard wiring has been butchered, not sure where you'll be able to get one over here though, only chance is off a scrap car.
