Could anyone tell me what this hatch is worth?

Default Could anyone tell me what this hatch is worth?

Not sure where to put this but I'm looking at getting this hatch this weekend for 14k. Just want to find out if I'm overpaying. The full spec is in the pics but I'll list a brief one.

forged engine at 60k its now on 80k
garret gtx30r turbo
Ecu labs egg
exedy clutch
1000cc injectors
turbosmart external Westgate

It's a case of what it's worth to you... I'd say ish £12k is a good price for you... most sellers always want more than a car is really worth... just because he's put a load of cash into it doesn't mean he's going to get it back.

£14k is a lot of money for a very thursty not very popular car... he's not exactly going to have buyers lining up around the corner to buy it.

What's the life expectancy of a forged engine? As it's done 20k on the build already, was told when I got my first 2.5 forged that I was expecting problems after 25-30k

Can't see why you'd get any problems with a forged engine. As Subaru make Impreza's with forged engines from new. With no faults.

look on the parts list, 10/50 fully synth how many engine builders recomend running a new build in with that ? i know someone who did and after a while it burnt oil all over again

There must be a difference with Subaru building a forge engine and some bloke in a unit off an industrial estate doing one init......

Using the newage sti bugeye as an example that comes with forged pistons

The rings won't lap to the bores with full synth and it will burn oil thereafter - bad practice indeed
