vin number

Hi,
i am trying to check for a spare part online, but and being requested to enter my car VIN number. Now my car has a VIN with 9 characters, online is requesting for minimum 17 characters. Kindly help

If its an import, the vin wont match anything online.

Thanks for the comment. In this case what do i need to do? The silver plate in the bonnet has 7 characters starting with BL5

As stated you have a jdm (japanese domestic model) so the VINs are in a different format

You can look for part numbers for your Legacy here.....

The model code is shown on the VIN plate
