Bought an engine out of a newage bugeye impreza being broken advertised as STI but think its WRX as no AVCS

Says on HPI check i done was first registered in UK in 2009 so must be an import car?

Also says its year is 2000

Chassis number is GDB004285

Can anything be told from vin

Would just like to know what model it is and what sporta spec engine would be if imported if different to a UK model, has been in car now around 2 years and going perfect.
