Hi I am looking at a 2007 Impreza R Sportswagon as a cheap 4x4. Have had Imprezas in the past (including Imports) and Forester Turbos and was a member here years ago. But want a cheap car now so what should I look for?

Same as normal full service history. No knocking noises. To be honest the none turbos are bullet proof, even if not well looked after.
