Default Toyosports/japspeed Exhaust systems on eBay

Anyone had experience with these systems. Keep reading mixed reviews. Some fit great, others don't. It will just be a cat back system that I'll be going for. But it's half the price of something like the racebox system on scoobyworld.

I've used both on a few cars now, never a great fit but you can make them fit and for the money i've been quite happy.
Have had on a Classic Type R, a Blob VLtd and a Widetrack, took it off the last car as was a bit loud for my liking

Technically yes they fit and function, but theyre ****, spend a bit more and get a lot more quality is my advice.
Revolution or miltek would be my choice

I'd not say they are ****, for the money they are very good and I have made good power out of cars with them on. The revolution exhaust was a bit close to the rear diff and needed tweaking, H&S and the RCM systems have been the only ones i've used so far that didn't need a tweak

Thanks guys. Do you know if the cat back system tapers to 2.5inch to fit to the downpipe?
All the sellers states a 3inch system and when asked, they don't know.

3" mate, I think, and iirc they don't use a doughnut gasket

So it just mates up to the existing flange on the downpipe?
Thinking of spending some more money on a quality system such as miltek or scoobyworld.

I'll have the blitz to sell after but the centre is welded to the back box making it near on impossible to ship.

Have a Japspeed exhaust manifold on my Impreza for years works fine, i believe fit wasn't perfect though, and garage had to apply abit of pressure to get it in place.

But it was a bargain. Bought a cheap ebay one for a non turbo and that was awful fit.

Thread hijak but relevent i think.
Ive just bought a 3inch cat back toyosport exhaust but it doesnt reach the cat. Its around 5ish maybe 6 inches too short.
Is there a matching toyo sport downpipe thats longer than standard?

You can get spacers that bolt to the existing bolt holes for around £30, but you'll need gaskets too.

There a link In the above link to an engineering firm, but I'm not 100% sure it was them and I can't recall who it was bud sorry. Worst case is buy two flanges for a few quid and take them to an engineer, they do it for similar money, it's only 15 minutes for a skilled engineer, or better still take your Downpipe to them if it's already off?

ive looked and an evo 4/5/6 decat pipe is almost perfect as the flange orientation is wrong at the moment too. I can get things tig welded at work but i may be lazy and get a new system and sell on this one.

I had toyo tubular exhaust manifolds on my ST220. Like other people have said, it took a bit of effort to fit, and the finish, particularly around the welds, was terrible. But it did work.
