Default Dash bulbs led

Has anyone done this? Wanting to know what bulbs are the best and brightest as I have seen some that don't really illuminate very well and look pants.

The problem with LED's for dash lighting is that they are very directional. A normal bulb isn't.

I've fitted 2 lots. Both cheap as. The first lot as stated were very directional and threw spots onto the clusters. The 2nd lot I got were less focused and illuminated the whole cluster very well and evenly. I'll try and find a link to the ones I bought 2nd time around...

Hi guys, I had just bought a blue set for my dash and on taking the others out found a few different sizes of bulbs. Any ideas what the numbers for each bulb is for ordering, local factors has no idea what numbers the bulbs would have to be, thanks in advance

Is it possible to use the red leds on a classic cluster and what can be used to remove the green film?

If I remember right in school only green light can pass through a green filters. But I'll be honest these Led's are so bright maybe the red will come through nicely, my green led's can be considered very bright lol

did my mates blobeye dash with 10x the above for less than £10 . Also used 4x T3 for the heater panel

DO NOT REMOVE THE NEEDLES !! ***** the motor, done it my mates blob and now his needles are all fcked but if you want too, nail varnish remover works a treat, I just used the bulbs with the x4 LEDs in one it spreads the light better they are W5W 501 leds and the instrument panel ones are 286 leds
