Anyone seen or heard from him? paid for a part off him on the 19th which he said he would post that day - not been online since.

Dozza has been around for years, I'm sure there's a genuine reason. I know you say he's not been online but have you tried messaging him?

Unfortunately if paid as gift/friend then you can't claim from PayPal.

I sent him a message on facebook a few weeks ago when I saw this thread and he replied to me on there. I find it odd that he's not been on here.

If he is ok(people were worried) then he wants more than a nudge!
Seems a few members on here have paid for parts and not received them or an explanation.

Maybe pm ash his FB profile so he can sort things out?

He said he had just returned from holiday and he was going to sort it, I'm surprised that he hasn't to be honest.

He's not a friend of mine, I just know of him. I'll drop him another message tonight but I can't promise anything.

I've sent him another message asking him to read this thread, hopefully he will respond to you.

Not much else I can do I'm afraid.

The irony of it hey!
No excuse imo, he should of replied or let you know either way, poor standards really.
Not saying he's scammed anyone but still should of explained or let folk know. All the support he got from snet, least he should do is sort this out seen as he has time for fb.

Should post his fb name on here tbh as a few frequent fb and will of seen his name if he's been regularly active.

Same for me ive messaged him via facebook but had not a reply.
Ive also called the business that he owns but its closed down now over the winter period

If the worst comes to the worst i will drive the 5 hours down there to him or get the local boys in blue to pay him a visit .

How much money has he had from us
mine was £215

Its shame really ive been buying from forums for over 10 years and this is the first issue ive ever had.
Sign of the times im afraid

Doesn't sound good!

This is why I'd never pay for things via PayPal gift, except family and actual friends. There are some people on here who come across as decent, genuine guys, some I'd be really surprised if they ripped me off, but ultimately, it's just not worth the risk. Maybe ten or twenty quid, but no more than that. I'd rather pay extra to cover the fees to have peace of mind.

I hope you chaps get it sorted.
