Dozza

Anyone seen or heard from him? paid for a part off him on the 19th which he said he would post that day - not been online since.

Ash

Paulo P 05 November 2016 12:48 AM

Dozza has been around for years, I'm sure there's a genuine reason. I know you say he's not been online but have you tried messaging him?

Ash Webster 05 November 2016 05:43 PM

Yeh . Not a major part I ordered it can wait , just wondering where he's at :p hope he's ok

neil97rs 09 November 2016 12:50 PM

Got the same problem not heard from him since the 19th October

Ash Webster 01 December 2016 01:24 PM

Anyone any idea yet???

JDM_Stig 01 December 2016 01:44 PM

did you pay via paypal ?

Ash Webster 01 December 2016 02:49 PM

i did, didnt want to have to get a refund but since no-one seems to know him IRL i guess ill have to

edit* also since it was paid as gift can i get a refund?

ossett2k2 01 December 2016 02:55 PM

Unfortunately if paid as gift/friend then you can't claim from PayPal.

Paulo P 01 December 2016 04:24 PM

I sent him a message on facebook a few weeks ago when I saw this thread and he replied to me on there. I find it odd that he's not been on here.

you couldnt give him a nudge for me? just ask him what the deal is?

cheers

ossett2k2 01 December 2016 05:03 PM

If he is ok(people were worried) then he wants more than a nudge!
Seems a few members on here have paid for parts and not received them or an explanation.

Maybe pm ash his FB profile so he can sort things out?

He said he had just returned from holiday and he was going to sort it, I'm surprised that he hasn't to be honest.

He's not a friend of mine, I just know of him. I'll drop him another message tonight but I can't promise anything.

neil97rs 02 December 2016 10:20 AM

Looks like you and i part paid for his hoilday then?

My part also wasnt huge money but was still £215

Give him a gentle nudge from me aswell

Paulo P 02 December 2016 03:18 PM

I've sent him another message asking him to read this thread, hopefully he will respond to you.

Not much else I can do I'm afraid.

jayallen 02 December 2016 03:20 PM

Wasn't he the fella who got stitched up on a Type R?

Paulo P 04 December 2016 12:42 AM

No response from Dozza :( If you've not heard anything from him either PM me.

Paulo P 04 December 2016 11:32 AM

Ash Webster 05 December 2016 11:19 AM

rickybobby 05 December 2016 12:27 PM

Neeko1988 05 December 2016 12:30 PM

I find this really hard to believe after all the problems he had with his Type R.

The irony of it hey!
No excuse imo, he should of replied or let you know either way, poor standards really.
Not saying he's scammed anyone but still should of explained or let folk know. All the support he got from snet, least he should do is sort this out seen as he has time for fb.

Should post his fb name on here tbh as a few frequent fb and will of seen his name if he's been regularly active.

Neeko1988 05 December 2016 03:46 PM

Exactly, everybody was quick enough to help him when he had the problems with his TypeR

Hope everybody gets sorted.

neil97rs 05 December 2016 07:32 PM

Same for me ive messaged him via facebook but had not a reply.
Ive also called the business that he owns but its closed down now over the winter period

If the worst comes to the worst i will drive the 5 hours down there to him or get the local boys in blue to pay him a visit .

How much money has he had from us
mine was £215

Its shame really ive been buying from forums for over 10 years and this is the first issue ive ever had.
Sign of the times im afraid

Doesn't sound good!

This is why I'd never pay for things via PayPal gift, except family and actual friends. There are some people on here who come across as decent, genuine guys, some I'd be really surprised if they ripped me off, but ultimately, it's just not worth the risk. Maybe ten or twenty quid, but no more than that. I'd rather pay extra to cover the fees to have peace of mind.

I hope you chaps get it sorted.
