Basically I got in the car (subaru Impreza 06) a while back and the key would not work there fore maybe an auto over ride on the immobiliser...I used the code for a while fine however my dad went to borrow my car and entered the code wrong....now I can not use the car 😣 is there any way to reset a code or reset the key?

The key has a battery in it so probably best to replace it first, before trying to re-code.

I have a similar problem with my second key,
It will open car and turn on ignition however the car just turns over and ovr never catches,
Use my normal key and it works first time,
Do keys need coded to start car as well as coded to open car ?
Anywhere nearGlasgow able to sort this ?

So have you carried out the procedure on the link I posted earlier??
And once again here

. This article assume that the alarm remotes are working and they are the ones that came with the car/system. If this is the case then you will need to follow the procedure below with both remotes:
My remote does not work

Unless you try to re-code your key you won't know whether it works or not. The article assumes the remotes work i.e the battery is not flat or the pcb is not damaged.

Try this........
Programming Remote Keys to the System:
Remote keys can be added or removed to/from the system following the sequence below:
i) Type in to the keypad **
ii) Type in to the keypad the “existing PIN code” then *
iii) Type in to the keypad 91 * “ the number of keys to be used” #
iv) Press the first remote key button until bleep sounds, release and press next key. Continue until all
keys have been taught to the system. Note the maximum number of keys is 4 and all keys required
to operate the system must be taught during this operation - any key not included will no longer
operate the system.

This can be reset by turning the key to the "ign" position and pressing the key button again before finally turning key to the start position.
These items worth having and reading

Definitely was not the battery....after programming the key...the car just would not start...it turned over though I just sat there persevering back and forth locking unlocking trying again...until finally it started...I just sat their looking at it thinking....why? But left it on, drove around the block and all seems fine...key works...car starts....let's hope it stays this way 🙈
