FB tuning A+!
Just wanted to say,had my hatchback sti mapped by rich at fb tuning today in princess Risborough.. Was so nice to take my pride and joy somewhere you know it's being looked after..instead of hunting big power figures, rich gave me back a car that pulls like a train in every gear, and fully explained to me what he'd done, and how he had made it a more driveable, safer and smoother car..Can't recommend this guy enough, really top chap, and now I've got the car the hatch was always ment to be!!! Thqnkyou rich and thankyou fb tuning :-)

I'm a mechanic by trade, but when it comes to mapping? I'm well out of my depth..rich was so down to earth talked me through all the changes he made and really went that extra mile to get my car sorted.. Highly recommend.

Glad your pleased with the outcome Pete ,, did you have racerom added ? , if not then it's something I would look into as it gives you loads of extras like launch control , flat foot shifting and auto blip for down shifting (less engine stress) plus other things iv prob forgot lol

Don't be to scared of the 2.5 as I took my standard hawk up to 380 without any problems and then waited for a used forged lump to turn up , got that for 1500 and sold my standard engine on for 1000 , forged swap for 500 notes can't be bad lol , keep them eyes open for the bargains

I took my Blobeye Spec C RA up to Rich from down in West Wales for a service, modifications and to be remapped.
Well worth the travelling and I'll definitely be using his services again, I can't think of anyone else who can offer all the services he does to such a high level and at such reasonable prices.

Had mine 7 years now and hasn't been anywhere but FB.
Once you find a good mechanic stay with them, worth every penny to keep your pride and joy on the road.

I had my car with Richard this week to resolve the common fuel smell issue and I would highly recommend him too! He really knows his stuff and definitely fills you with confidence that you know your car is in good hands when there. Not going to take the car anywhere else from now on, that's for sure!
I was discussing remaps whilst there too and it's definitely got me tempted too!

Hey dude,
The screw clips that hold the fuel line hoses in place (one at each end of 4 hoses I believe) under the inlet manifold weren't tight enough, causing the fuel smell through the vents on cold mornings... as soon as I mentioned it to Richard he knew what the issue was, which was great! Seems that some aren't torqued right from the factory (so I believe).
Unfortunately the vast majority of the clips (screw type clips) are not reachable, which meant that the inlet manifold etc had to come out, meaning it's a labour intensive job (4 hours +). He replaced the piping and clips (ones that were OK) and so far, so good (I hope it stays that way too). At least the smell of fuel has gone from the cabin now
