Default Abs delete full kit

Anyone fitted one of these kits, any pics. Have mine all stripped out ready to fit including Tilton lever type bias valve plumbed in by the handbrake. Group buy by pro line offering decent discount if more than 5 people, 4 at the moment. Will have to sacrifice discount though if no one else is interested, wanna get it slapped on as leaving refitting the gearbox to give more/better access!

Can you remove a fundamental safety feature and still pass an MOT
or are you talking about a track car?

Yes it will pass mot as long as the old hard lines and the abs unit is removed, everything else, sensors, rings etc can stay.

Because is a poor system,I noticed on my old classic that if I went over a bump when breaking the ABS kicked in,it's even worse on this car with its big caliper upgrade, the car won't stop if I hit a bump or pothole as the stupid abs kicks it! Pretty scary sometimes.

Braking hard it will kick in if you drive over a wet drain cover too. A quick off/on of the brake pedal recovers the brakes, not always in time though.

I have the entire abs system removed, the sensors, tone rings, pump, bias, and all hard lines and ecu, so should be OK as regards to legalities.
Mainly for track use and upgrading the 2 pot front and single tears to 4 and 2 pot from newage. It's a 94 import sti. I really didn't like the abs, it kicked in all the time and was dangerous imo. More unnerving than anything. I saw the kit from pro line and thought will be ideal and can put my own bias inside the car for adjustment to suit.

It sounds like a good alternative to the OE kit. If you're going to crash at least you want it to be your responsibility not some dodgy abs malfunction.

Note the last paragraph on the information section.
ABS removal is MOT Friendly.

Got quoted £800 for ABS removal on mine, main reason was to save weight and the fact in the snow my car won't stop at junctions.

The ABS system is downright dangerous in classics it seems, mine included. Nearly put me in to a hedge at 70mph when it decided I didn't actually need the brakes on the left side of my car to slow down. I have a full delete kit but have not fitted it yet.

Half the reason I'm drag racing/traffic light grand prix obsessed!!!

The car handles and stops fine but any loose surface or bump and you're at the mercy of the tuning gods.
