As a stock car with abs yes its the module that does the bias, id always recommend fitting a bias valve although i have supplied many kits without bias valve with good feedback. It will also depend what the car is used for, track car i would say fit one, road car..maybe not.

I can supply bias valves with the kits from Wilwood, Tilton or AP Racing.

Hope this helps.

Hi Phil, pretty sure its only the non abs cars that have a factory bias valve as its the abs module that does the biasing.

But yes, a stock non abs bias valve can be used as long as we are aware upon making your order.

Bare in mind its not adjustable though.

Regards.

Is a bias valve recommended or even needed on a road car. If I don't have a bias valve is the split 50/50 or am I not understanding the bias thing right.

Is the brake system on a wagon different? I'm sure I saw a bias valve mounted near the strut tower on mine... Would like to dump my ABS but would also like to keey my bias valve if I have one.

Unless someone has fitted one, itll be a connector block to rear brakes, alot of people get confused and assume its a bias, looks similar to the non abs items which are a proportion/bias valve.

As said, i can supply bias valves from as little as £50! Adjustable too..
