I don't think he was calling you anything tbh so calm down calm down !
Just a general term to describe a sellers attitude towards anyone willing to pay that kind of money for that particular car ? Not a personal attack on yourself as far as I can see .
Yes it is an unbelievable price , but there is always one somewhere willing to bite even at that money , hence the term

Ditchy is absolutely right - anyone asking 13k for what is, after all, a UK Turbo 2000 with badges and heavy wheels is fishing for a mug. If you do 5mins worth of research into RB5s, you'd know that.

Unless he bought it then he is a mug, if not then was a general statement from Ditch not aimed at OP, wind your neck in

There is some emotion attached to the RB5, as there are other limited edition models, there was a time I would have died for a WR1 or my personal favorite the RB320 (takes all sorts) but at the end of the day, they are what they are and that money is strong.

Not sure what your beef is with Ditch, but I would say that was strong money and he was just pointing out the same.

Chill, someone told me it was Christmas

The dealer is trying it on, I paid half that for 68k mile RB5 back in early 2007!

No 197 looks a well looked after car for the mileage:

and save yourself a nice 9 grand!

^^ 4 grand with 130000 miles and rusty arches, with no mention of service history. Makes me wonder what my 64k miles rust free wagon with Prodrive performance and handling pack is worth.....

WOW! this place has changed a bit! seems like some of us have roid rage.
Special edition cars seem to be rising in value, and while that is happening, sellers try to push the limits.
how long will it go on for? what prices will they all reach? look at the price of escort cosworths, audi quattros and other iconic cars. special edition Subarus seem to be going that sort of way. not that im worried about the situation. buy a rarer model and see where it goes
