Default Induction kits - hatch

What are the best induction kits for the hatch. I'm looking for one with a decent sound to it too

In my experience of induction kits on Imprezas, they have very little impact on induction noise. If I was to get another Impreza, I would be looking at a panel filter

I have the AEM kit and it definitely does not have the usual induction "roar" you can experience on other cars. I Had a decent panel filter before and have noticed little difference between the two.

I have the cosworth one on mine, and the noise is a massive difference.

But If that's the sound your after beware. It will probably be a muffled darth vader breathing type noise. Nothing like a child scaring vta being pumped out the bonnet scoop

I have the Mishimoto fitted to mine and I get the same effect (sounds like a VTA on full chat), looks like the OP has a few options to choose from

I've heard some really good things about the mishimoto kits. Good sound, good power increase and they look nice.
I've seen them around the £180 mark. Is that a decent price for them?

Yeah, I got mine from eBay when I had a 20% voucher and I reckon I paid around that. Mine made 370bhp, with a forged engine and H&S decat so the Mishimoto isn't restrictive

In fact the place I got mine from is offering it for 180 (Bugger! )
