Default Wagon - Lower Rear Spoiler or Not??

I use my Impreza Wagon for Gravel Rallying so I don't really care what the car looks like as long as it is fast.

However, I had to remove the lower rear spoiler to fit some new catches to stop the boot flying open over the bumps. As it won't make any difference to performance, the question is: Should I re-fit it??

Opinions please!

I quite like the look of it without the lower spoiler, but with the 'larger' (STI?) upper spoiler. It kind of makes it look more 'purposeful'.

Must admit that I think I agree with you! People still ask me what the car is, even when it has the characteristic Scooby 'Burble' because they are not used to seeing a Wagon used in anger

Your asking 2 different questions? If someone puts no, does that mean no too putting it back on or no to leaving it off?

Lower Rear Spoiler or Not??

Should I leave it off??

Thank you for that clarification jaygsi - If I knew how to edit the original post, I would change the wording.

Looking at the last picture above with the dust, you want to be keeping it on anyway. Looks like there may be the odd scenario where the air flow over the spoiler will stop the dust swirling back over the rear window.

Plus it looks better on anyway.

jameswrx - Doesn't matter because I don't have an interior rear view mirror. The rear window gets so dirty on some events that I wouldn't be able to see out of it even with the spoiler.
