Default tyres

Any one got run flats on?

What are good tyres for around £80/120 mark?

You could do a lot worse than the Momo M3 outrun tyres I've just bought for £230 for a full set of 4.

This is a WR1, yes?

So what sizes is it on?

Strangely, some tyres suit the classics, but NOT the heavier, larger-tyred newage cars.

If you don't like the ride now and you put run flats on you'll really hate it.

DO NOT get run flats; they are total turd.

I get on really well with my Pilot Supersports but also rate Conti Sport Contacts very highly too.

My Subaru tyres are a bit more off road orientated; hopeless on a WR1!

Camskill were doing VERY good deals on Vredesteins in 18", Ultrac Sessenta, my lad has them on his Megane R26 F1, and loves them.

I don't like runflats...hell, I don't even have a space-saver, I have a full size spare in mine.

Those MoMo are an unknown quantity....I think I'd buy known tyres until they have been around a bit longer. ESPECIALLY knowing what I now know about MoMo steering wheel/gearknob quality and price....

I actually have a set on my car in the dry thus far I'm amazed, driven once in the wet but not full on raining and they were still gripping, poo and electric blanket come to mind.
