I purchased a set of them for my classic.

They are actually not bad. As a hose it does what it needs to do. They are well made and feature the woven material through them to increase strength.

I've had mine on almost a year now with no issues. The only thing I needed to do was tighten the clamps up a bit after they had bedded in - but tbh I probably didn't tighten them up enough to start with.

With mine I had to cut some down to size - only slightly, to stop from kinking. Not every hose needed it just the top and bottom rad hoses iirc.

I contacted them about having to trim them as I didn't have the necessary tools to get a factory finish on the ends, and they refunded me 50% - cant argue with that

I'd spend a bit extra money and get them from here instead.

I got "do 88" hoses from eBay. A good kit at an excellent price.

I've heard that pill mentioned before , didn't know it was in one of those hoses , thanks for pointing that out .

Right now I'm looking for an ancillary kit , samco are the only ones I've found so far .

If Darrell at swrd would get his kit together quicker I'd buy from him

Heavyset and ttracing only do 8 piece kit , that leaves out around 12 hoses

Funny, all brands mentioned are from the same Chinese factory as Autobahn 88, I tried a group buy for Autobahn and literally everyone slated them. The thread is probably still around somewhere..

I was going to order them ttracing ones gary, let us know what you think when you get them, was going to go for one of their intercooler Ypipe kits if they are decent quality.
Don't worry about a restrictor pill in your coolant pipes,it's in the boost pipes(I'm also going to change these to) just not sure which colour to go for with all the new pipe work

silicone hoses just arrived in the post ,they look spot on, no bad points on build quility from what i can tell, i'll post couple of pics up soon.

it will be a while untill i can fit these and ill update this thread then , i'll also compare the top rad hose with the samco one i have fitted ,which cost almost the same as all 8 of these hoses btw
