"Xenon Look" Headlight Bulbs
Hi,
I'm after a set of headlight bulbs for my scooby that will give the look of an xenon upgrade without having to buy an xenon kit.
I've found bulbs that claim to do the job, such as these for example...
http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H1-...ulb_search=car
But wanted to know if anyone could recommend any that you've had fitt d yourself?
I want that clear crystal, bright white, with a slight tinge of blue look that xenons give.
Thanks

Don't be fooled by the blue that genuine Xenons give, it's due to the prismatic effect of the edge of the projector lens.
TRUE (OE) Xenons are 4300K, which is white, daylight white.
As for bulbs, I'd suggest some of the so-called uprated bulbs, Philips Ultra Vision, Halfords Ultra Brilliance, Osram Night Breakers, or Ring 120% uprated.
All give a decent white with a good beam pattern...something cheapo bulbs often don't.

What year is your Subaru? If it's a classic then you need H4 fitting for main/dip beam, like these: http://www.powerbulbs.com/product/ni...r-unlimited-h4
