Default New discs & pads and still front end noise

Need your priceless help again...I've put new discs and pads at front end about 10 months ago but when I brake I hear a loud sound as if it's braking metal on metal...This is at the loudest when I'm at very low speed and almost stopping...
Any idea what could this be? What could cause such a noise?
I've checked the discs and pads and they are brand new and almost no wear on them.
Many thanks.

Possibly the disc guard catching, may sound daft but I assume you checked the rears as well

Spring clips upside down? Do you have brembos or Subaru 4 pots? Is it one clunk or a constant noise?

Yes, i checked rears and all good. I have an sti blobeye 2003 with gold brembo's...The sound is a constant noise that happens when I put the foot down on the brake pedal. It sounds like metal on metal. The dealer put the front discs about 10 months ago and I already had issues with other stuff he did so could this be another incompetent thing he did?

Pads? Wear limit indicators scraping on the discs? I noticed the pads for brembo calipers don't have a huge amount of meat on them.

Pads are 10 months old and didn't do more than 2000 miles and there's plenty of meat on them...

Yes but are the wear indicators bent over too far or something. Worth checking. Can't you get it up in the end and spin the wheels by your hand?
