Default turn alarm off with keypad thing under dash??

Evening all,

Slight problem. There is a moth somewhere in my car which I can't find and it keeps setting my alarm off!!

Is there a way to turn the alarm off by putting a code in that keypad thing under the steering wheel?

I'd try an find the bloody moth but getting ready to go out and can't leave the alarm going off all night Xmas eve.

Don't worry it's my car. I'll post a pic up with the reg if anyone is worried lol

No it's the standard alarm but there is that keypad thing to the right of the steering wheel. I presume They are standard as I have had them in all 4 new age I have had? The only think I know you can do with them is turn the beep when you lock and unlock on?

Changing your PIN:

- Arm and then Disarm the system using a working Radio Key.

- Within 30 seconds of disarming, type into the keypad: *17856*92*wxyz*wxyz# (where wxyz is your new PIN code)

- Arm the system with the Radio Key

- You should now be able to disarm the system using the new PIN code

Why not for the time being spray inside the car with fly killer or if you have time put the interior light on and wait for the moth to be attracted to it?.

If its a Sigma M30, to disable interior sensors (for one setting only), turn ignition on, press remote. LED will flash once. Turn off ignition, exit vehicle & press remote. Hazards will flash 8 times instead of usual 4.

You'll have to do this every time you set the alarm.

Think you can just lock it using key in lock, think this can be done to leave passengers or dog in car.
