Default Remap Thursday? Dynamos what can I expect?

My 52 plate bug STI will being mapped (by race dynamics) on Thursday total decat, hayward and Scott downpipe, vortex after burner system from that , cossie filters, walbro plus Duncan's magic on the remap? Just wondering what the average bhp figure would be on this setup on the bug STI? N

I just bought a 2002 STI, the car has most of what you have, the graph that came with the car shows 332.

Post your graph up once you have the map :-) would love to compare the 2 graphs, might even get Duncan to map mine afterwards if yours looks good.

Just out of curiosity, who did you get to fit your bits?

I'm looking for a good Subaru mechanic.

When i bought my Bug STI PPP it came with 3 map graphs, one in 2006 from Scooby Clinic, then 2 from Enginemapper.co.uk one of which shows det! and a slipping clutch! Which Enginemapper.co.uk sorted with another map. That was in 2012.

I think its time for another map!!

Here are the graphs the car came with:

The red lines are from the map tweak.

What do you guys think??

get it run on a dyno and see, shouldn't need repeated mapping unless your changing the mods

I'm in 2 minds as to mod or not. Nothing major, was just thinking ported headers and Harvey up pipe. I also wanted to fit a CAI kit, i LOVE the noise :-)

Partly in 2 minds because i thought the torque was going to come in sooner, and have a higher peak figure.

I bought the car last weekend, and its going in for a service next week, i'll try and make up my mind after the service.

What do you think of the way the power is delivered on the graphs?

Isnt it a bit odd that Enginemapper mapped it in 5th?

those mod will need the map tweaking. the gear will just be the gear its power un in, not what its mapped in. what makes you think it was run in 5th anyway? cant see a gear readout on the two other graphs, clinics is run in 3rd.

The enginemapper.co.uk graphs came stapled with some other graphs showing boost, afr, on those it says it was done in 5th.

Didn't realise it didn't matter what gear the car was mapped in, my previous maps have always been in 3rd.

To be fair, the car does drive quite nice, and smooth, i think i was just expecting more from my first STI, and my first drive in an STI.
