Default WRX blob eye Brakes disc and pads what to use.

Hello

I have a WRX Blobeye wagon looking into upgrading the pad and disc and wondering what to use don’t really want to change the calliper size.

What would be best to use thinking about mid range for price.

Thanks

PF don't offer Z rated pads for this shape caliper.

Make sure your calliper pistons are not seized first, do a search on here as the front 4pots are prone to seizing which will just ruin any new discs/pads you decide to put on - I know as I done it...D'oh!

If they are fine & working correctly I can highly recommend Godspeeds Grooved discs with painted centre bells & fast road pads, got them on my 292bhp blob wagon & they do the trick just fine.

Hello

Thanks for the replies. Thanks for the advice I will check out about the pistons being seized I have phone up a few places but were trying to sell something expensive AP I think or something like that. I will defiantly look into Godspeeds Grooved discs. Not planning to go over that sort of HP... well not Planning to haha.

Check out MTEC for grooved discs and pads, they have a rust/ heat proof coating ,just fitted them all round on my blob wagon. Very reasonable on the price and you can have various combinations for the discs.

This is what I have on mine :

http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/~god...id_product=195

Just make sure you get the centre bells painted otherwise they just rust & look horrid - your be kicking yourself if you don't.

Darrell @ Scoobyworx is also worth a look for all things brake related
http://www.scoobyworx.com/

I've spoke & dealt with both company's & can personally recommend both but there are lots of companys on here that can help you out

Hope that helps & welcome to ScoobyNet but don't, under any circumstances mention dump valves or rally graphics lol
