Talking

hi fellow RB5 owners,

I have just got mine and the wife wanted clear front & sides indicators which i have now sorted but it looks a little silly at the front as the grilled air intakes below the front indicators is an orangey colour.

have any of you done the same, wot have you done?

I have ordered some new grills and thought about getting them colour coded to the RB5, they are £15 each

As soon as the clear indicators are purchased, everyone paints the crap orange wedges.

The wedges can be prized out with a srewdriver slotted in at the top of the wedge.
Then rub them down with some wet and dry to get a good surface for the paint to set onto.
Get some paint made up from Halfords which costs £8.99 a can. Also, buy some laquer.
They are not hard to do, just make sure you read the instructions on the cans and apply alot of coats to make sure they do not get chipped too much over the years.
It really is that simple, and it looks alot better.

Spray can of smooth-hammerite is best as it resists chips MUCH better than normal paint.

About time someone did this the other way around. Paint the car orange, it's the only sensible thing to do.

Wink

I painted the wedges matt black on mine, IMHO looked better than colour coded one.
